********************************************************************** OUR MISSION STATEMENT The Hawaii Court Reporters and Captioners Association (HCRCA) is a non-profit professional organization founded for the purpose of promoting excellence in court reporting in the state of Hawaii. Ho`omua is published by HCRCA, P.O. Box 4681, Honolulu, Hawai`i 96812. ****************************************************** IN MEMORIAM:
It is with fond aloha that the court reporters of the state of Hawaii acknowledge the passing of CSR Don Ross earlier this year. Don worked as a reporter in the state of Hawaii for about 28 years. He was a California CSR as well and worked in San Francisco the early part of his career Don was a terrific reporter who never used a backup, always did his research, and was a joy to work with. He was very close to his fellow reporters and staff, working together through slow times, super busy times, deaths, marriages, divorces. He was like family. Don loved to travel and have a good time. His sport was sailing, and at one time in his life spent five years sailing around the globe. He was very lucky to pair up with the lovely Meredith, who took excellent care of him until the end. Don will bring a smile to our faces as long as we're around and we can still crack a smile! ************************************************************************* ORDER YOUR T-SHIRT NOW!
