POSITION AVAILABLE:   (Position description revised) Hawai`i State Judiciary - O`ahu, Court Reporter II - Duties:  Takes verbatim records of court proceedings utilizing computer-aided transcription (CAT) and/or simultaneous video display transcription (realtime); transcribes/certifies transcripts; and performs other duties as required.  Qualifications:  RPR Certification and Hawaii CSR license required.

Supervising Court Reporter II - Duties:  Maintains direct supervision over a staff of court reporters; coordinates court assignments with court schedules; oversees transcript preparation; and assists in various administrative matters.  This is a working-supervisory position.  All qualifying candidates must possess the ability to take verbatim records of court proceedings; be proficient in computer-aided transcription 9CAT0 and/or simultaneous video display transcription (realtime); transcribe and certify transcripts; and perform other duties as required.  Qualification:  Six years of Court Reporting Experience, RPR Certification, and Hawaii CSR license required.  Major employee benefits:  13 paid holidays; paid sick/vacation leave; medical, prescription, vision and dental plans; life insurance; retirement plan and savings.
